Transition Wayland will hold a New Year's Eve celebration on Tuesday night at the Community Room at 10 Bent Ave.
"Transition Wayland is hosting a community-wide New Year's Eve Cafe and Open Mike, an informal evening of conversation and sharing. Bring a snack (try for local, organic, home-grown, homemade, healthy - how many of these can you get into one snack?), your favorite hot or cold drink (we'll supply hot water), and a story, a song, a poem, a picture, a recipe, a skill, or whatever you would like to share. Also please bring your own mug, small plate, and utensils, as there are limited dishes available, and bring your friends and your family – all are welcome," their announcement reads.
