Paint 'N Pour Planning to Come to Moody Street in Waltham
The business plans to open at 284 Moody St.

If all goes according to her plan, Waltham resident Suzanne Henderson will open a new Paint 'N Pour at 284 Moody St.Â
The new business would take over the former Ani-Madness space.
Henderson, who already owns and operates a Paint 'n Pour in Maynard, said she is hoping to open by March 1. She said she plans to sign a lease soon, pending a review from her attorney and other approvals from Waltham City Hall. Henderson also plans to renovate the space and add a new sign.Â
"It's a great street, if it could get some more business on there that could attract people," Henderson said.Â
Paint 'n Pour plans to offer painting classes where customers follow instructor lessons as they consume alcohol. However, the Waltham location will be somewhat different than similar businesses. While Paint 'n Pour is based on the traditional model of painting while drinking alcohol, the Waltham location will not have a full liquor license, Henderson said. Instead, the location plans to offer alcohol on certain days, under the auspices of a one-day permit.
"There will be designated nights where there will be a bar," Henderson said.
