Police Log: Abandoned Boat, Truck in Wires, Golf Course Vandalism

June 25
- 1:41 p.m.; 40 Cochituate Road - Caller reported a red Mac garbage truck to be tailgating him "in a threatening manner."
- 11:42 a.m.; 8 Highland Circle - An 18-wheeler became entangled in Verizon wires that were dropping from the heat.
June 23
- 2:29 a.m.; 397 Boston Post Road - Arrest of Kathryn Lyons, 20, of 159 Marlboro St. in Hudson. According to a police press release, Sgt. Smith conducted a motor vehicle stop for a marked lanes violation. Lyons was subsequently arrested for operating under the influence of liquor and a marked lanes violation.
June 22
- 1:57 a.m.;Â 103 Cochituate Road - Kids spotted on the golf course, but ran away. Both were charged with malicious destruction of property and were transported back to residences for conversations with parents.
June 21
- 9:54 p.m.; 12 Claypit Hill - Crash involving a vehicle into a tree. The driver left the scene and the caller was unable to give a description of the vehicle.
- 7:22 p.m.; 27 Parkland Drive - Caller reported a group of what Boy Scouts and their parents attempting to trespass onto the beach. An officer advised the party.
June 20
- 8:39 p.m. - Manager from Villa Restaurant reported the license plate of a customer who was refused service due to intoxication. Police could not locate the person.
- 5:21 p.m.; 38 Barney Hill Road - Caller reported a tree branch had fallen and there was a person yelling for help.
- 12:03 p.m.; Rice Road - Report of someone in a large truck throwing "something" off the side of the roadway.
- 8:30 a.m.; 274 Main St. - Arrest of Daniel Easa, 45, of 34 Upton St. in Boston. Following a motor vehicle stop, Easa was arrested on an outstanding warrant for operating after suspension.
7:58 a.m.; 20 Crest Road - Apparently abandoned boat was found beached in the parking lot. There was fishing gear aboard but no registration.
June 19
- 5:35 a.m.; 268 Boston Post Road - Report of a car possibly smoking.
