Police Log: Couple of Arrests, Mass Pike Road Rage, Smashed Mailboxes and More

June 6
- 1:55 a.m.; 11 Kelsey Road - Caller reported a loud bang coming from inside the house.

- 12:05 p.m.; 30 Riverview Ave. - Report of vandalism.
June 3
- 12:48 p.m.; 134 Boston Post Road - Turtle in roadway.
- 4:50 p.m.; 177 Commonwealth Road - An off-duty Boston Police officer reported that he was driving on the Mass Pike when another driver cut him off then began yelling and pointing at the officer while trying to cut him off. According to the log, the party followed the officer when he exited the Pike and drove into Wayland, where the officer called police. A summons was issued.
- 8:20 p.m.; 120 Pelham Island Road - Report of someone possibly fishing and throwing the fish in the road.

- 5:38 p.m.; 21 Moore Road - Tree and wires down.
- 7:15 p.m.; 21 Harrison St. - Tree blocking the roadway.
- 9:24 p.m.; 412 Commonwealth Road - Arrest of Eduardo Maluf, 20 Underwood Park, Waltham. Officer Mark Hebert conducted a traffic stop after observing a vehicle fail to stop for a stop sign. According to police reports, Maluf was subsequently arrested and charged with OUI liquor, unlicensed operation and a stop sign violation. He was later released on bail.

- 5:35 a.m.; 169 School St. - Mailbox damaged.
- 2:47 p.m.; 133 Concord Road - Hitchhiker reported.
May 31
- 12:23 a.m.; 9 Charena Road - Mailbox smashed.
- 12:47 a.m.; 19 Charena Road - Mailbox smashed.
- 12:48 a.m.; 11 Charena Road - Mailbox smashed.
- 12:50 a.m.; Fuller Road - Arrest of Dante A. Sousa of 2012 Maple St., Marlborough. According to reports, officers observed four people leaving the woods and began talking with them. During the conversation, officers learned that Sousa was wanted on a Waltham warrant for larceny over $250. He was arrested and transported to court the next morning.
- 9:50 a.m.; 168 Boston Post Road - Turtle creating a road hazard.
