Ruth M. (Bellafatto) Fisher, 86, died Wednesday, July 10, after a brief illness.
Fisher was born in Natick and progressed through the Natick School System before moving to Wayland, where she lived for 55 years.
She was associated with Haemonetics in Natick before she retired. In her spare time she and her late husband, Richard J. Fisher, who died in August 2008, enjoyed ballroom dancing and raising vegetables in their home garden.
Fisher also enjoyed flower gardening and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren at the family pool.
She is survived by her children Richard A. Fisher and his wife, Marie, of Medway; Sharon M. Green and her husband, Hans, of Holliston; Jayne R. Sweeney of Framingham; Wayne K. Fisher of Natick; and Glenn T. Fisher. She was preceded in death by her child Janet L. Fisher, who died in August of 1973.
She will also be missed by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitations will be held Tuesday, July 16 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at John C. Bryant Funeral Home in Wayland.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 17 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in the Fisher family lot in Lakeview Cemetery.
