Wayland Cares Review, Bees at the Library, Lake Cochituate History
A few things you need to know in Wayland for Aug. 21, 2013.

1. There are a couple of meetings Wednesday, one of which takes place at 9 a.m. The Wayland Cares Review Committee will meet at the Wayland Town Building.
2. Later Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m., the Energy Initiatives Advisory Committee will meet, also at town building.
3. Bees at the library! Don't worry, these are harmless. These are the bees of "More Than Honey," a documentary about the importance of honeybees. It's being screened Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.
4. ICYMI. Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer is bringing a bit of rock 'n' roll to your morning routine.
5. A Year in Wayland History. Long Pond was renamed Lake Cochituate in the 1840s when it became Boston's water supply. The mayor of Boston thought that an Indian name would be more appealing to Bostonians.
