Wayland Police Arrests: DUI, Scratch Ticket Theft

Dec. 19

Police arrested Angela Robinson, 31, of Bedford, and charged her with larceny over $250.

According to police, Robinson stole cash and scratch tickets and created fake money orders from her employer.

Marcela Guimares, 40, of Everett, arrested and charged with unlicensed operation.

At around 4:15 p.m., an officer stopped a car on Boston Post Road for having an expired inspection sticker. The officer arrested the driver for unlicensed option of a car. 

Guimares was later released on a promise to appear at a Dec. 20 Framingham District Court hearing.

Police arrested Timothy Turner, 33, of 181 Robbins St., and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol and a marked lanes violation.

At around 11:38 p.m., an officer was on traffic enforcement duty on Route 20 when he saw a car speeding east. The officer followed the car and saw it drive erratically and hit a snow bank. The officer stopped the car and after an investigation, arrested Turner. 

Turner was later released on bail after a hearing at the Framingham District Court. 


Dec. 20

Police arrested Stephen J. Lewis, 31, of Hudson, and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol. 

At around 11:38 p.m., an officer was completing a traffic stop on Route 20 when he saw a car driving west and turn into the parking lot behind him. The driver approached the officer and told him he was there to pick up a friend, but the officer suspected the man was drunk. The officer conducted a field sobriety test and conclude Lewis is intoxicated. 

Lewis was later released on bail after a hearing on Framingham District Court. 

Dec. 23

Police arrested Steven D. Armstrong, 33, of 55 Auburn St., Framingham, and charged him with driving under the influence of alcohol, a marked lanes violation, leaving the scene of property damage and failure to yield right of way. 

At around 8:30 p.m., police observed a car accident at the intersection of Route 20 and Route 126. An officer spotted one of the cars flee the area and immediately told surrounding officers. Police later found the car on Old Connecticut Path and stopped his car. 

Armstrong was released on bail after a Dec. 24 arraignment hearing at Framingham District Court.
