The following is a sampling of calls to which Wayland Police recently responded. 

Nov. 21

6:21 a.m. – Disabled car on Cochituate Road.

8:13 a.m. – A caller reported a large cow walking down the middle of Campbell Road.

2:59 p.m.- A caller reported a possibly sick skunk on Boston Post Road.

4:21 p.m. – A caller reported water leaking from the yard of Green Way resident. Officers responded a turned the water to the sprinklers off.

Nov. 22

3:25 p.m. – Car crash on Commonwealth Road.

Police conducted one car stop. 

Nov. 23

7:59 a.m. – Car crash on Commonwealth Road. No injuries.

7:34 p.m. – A caller reported her door bell being broken, “possibly from someone constantly ringing her door bell.”

10:14 p.m. – A caller on Old Farm Road reported hearing gunshots.  

Nov. 24

1:30 p.m. – Disabled car on Boston Post Road.

2:39 p.m. – A tree fell on a car on Old Connecticut Path.
