Wayland Weather: 5 Inches of Snow, Rainout Coming

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy. High 61, low 36.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy. High 57, low 40.
Friday: Light rain until the evening. High 60, low 39.

A spring snowstorm dropped about five inches on Wayland; rain is on the way later this week.

WAYLAND, MA - Wayland rang in spring with about five inches of snow Sunday and Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

The snow caused delays at Logan Airport and few crashes were reported on major highways.

Worcester received the most snow with about 7.5 inches.

Looking ahead to Wayland's weather forecast later this week it looks like rain will set in. Here's the latest forecast:

Things will clear up for Saturday but the rain could rear its ugly head again on Sunday.
