Ashland:
- Shabbat Retreat - Wayland-based Ma'yah Tikvah has organized a weekend shabbat in Ashland at Camp Winnetaska, which located beside Ashland State Park and the Ashland Reservoir. More information about the weekend, including pricing and a schedule, is available at the Ma''yan Tikvah website.
- Beach Season Ends -Â The Wayland Town Beach will close for the season at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 18. The beach will be open from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
- Free Museum - The Concord Museum is participating in this week's Free Fun Fridays. Guests can visit the museum, located at the intersection of the Cambridge Turnpike and Lexington Road, for free on Friday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.Â
- Congregation Beth El Open House and Community BBQÂ - At 5 p.m. on Aug. 18, Congregation Beth El's annual BBQ and Open House will take place. Meet the Rabbi, Cantor, Director of Education and members of the community. Enjoy kosher hamburgers, hot dogs and veggie burgers, play games, and learn about Congregation Beth El.
