Here are some ideas:
Wayland:
- Special Pricing at Wayland Town Beach - For this weekend (Aug. 3-4), $5 per person for residents to enter the beach for the day; $10 per person for non-residents per day, with a $40 per family max.
- Summer Concert at Wayland Town Beach - Saturday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The Wayland Daddios will be be singing the afternoon away at Wayland Town Beach.
- "The Merchant of Venice" - Head to Vokes Theater for a production of Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice." There are Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. shows as well as a Saturday matinee.
- Fun and Games with the Staff - The Wayland Town Beach invites guests to play games with the staff from 1 p.m.-4 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4.
- Lincoln Sudbury Cross Country Fun Run - The boys’ and girls’ cross country teams are hosting a Fun Run on Saturday, Aug. 3. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School track.
- Bicycle Recycle Day - Stop by the Presbyterian Church of Sudbury (330 Concord Road, Sudbury) Saturday, Aug. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon and recycle your unwanted bicycle. "Any bicycle is a good bicycle" and the goal is to keep bikes from ending up in the dump. There's no charge to recycle.
