What's Up with the New Wayland Community Center?
The Community Center Advisory Committee will update residents on studies that have been conducted on the proposed site.
WAYLAND, MA - The Wayland Council On Aging and Community Center Advisory Committee have been tirelessly working on plans for a new community center and now you can hear about their progress at a public forum.
The council will discuss the facility proposed for the municipal pad at Town Center on Thursday at 7 p.m. in the large hearing room of the Wayland Town Building. The presentation will be followed by a Q&A.
"A Community Center in this extraordinary location of river, rail trail, retail stores and open space could greatly enhance the quality of Wayland life for years to come for all generations," the committee wrote in the announcement.
