2013 Town Election Results

The votes are in, and preliminary results were sent out by the Town Clerk last night. So, the question is, how did Wellesley vote?

Bear in mind that there are still some ballots to be hand-counted, but Clerk Kathleen Nagle does not believe the outcomes will change. 

The only contested races were for Town Meeting Members, and in three Precincts, there was the opportunity to write-in TMM candidates. In Precinct A, Richard Hartley was written in 23 times, securing him the two-year seat. Precinct E, 70 votes placed Wendy Engels in a three-year term, and in Precinct F, 6 votes for Michelle Livingston secured her seat. 

Precinct B candidates Vincent Devito, Miguel Lessing and Peter Jones each netted 75 votes. Two of them will have two-year terms, and a third a one-year seat; at the time of writing, the Town is determining which candidate will hold which seat.
