5 Things You Need to Know: Auctioning High Schoolers, Pansies and Weekend Happenings
Five Things you need to know for the weekend, starting on April 5.
1. While it is supposed to be partly sunny with a high of 58ºF, there is a chance of some rain today according to the National Weather Service. The evening will taper off to mostly clear with a low 29ºF.
2. Spring appears to be springing at Needham Historical Society. They are hosting the annual . As April is pansy month, and the pansy is Needham's flower, it seems fitting for to host pansy day on April 6, at 9 a.m.

3. The Wellesley College Spring Carillon Concert and Open Tower is this weekend as well. On Saturday, at 1 p.m., their free concert kicks off with seven professional carilloneurs ringing the 32 bells at the college's tower.
4. Now for sale, Wellesley High School Juniors! But seriously, starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday night, the Wellesley High School Junior Class of 2013 class auction they are hoping to defray some costs of the 2014 class' events by hosting an auction and a casino night. 10 percent of the proceeds will also go to Birthday Wishes.

5. The film "Two Who Dared" follows the tale of a Wellesley couple who woked to rescued a young woman from Germany in 1939. A Needham Lyceum screening of that film starts at 7:30 p.m. at , on Sunday night.
