5 Things You Need to Know: Awesome Express Rolls In, Discover Education and More!

1. More rain coming our way, so says the National Weather Service. A 60 to 70 percent chance of rain day and night, with some thunderstorms possible before 2 p.m. They could be accompanied by some heavy rains. Highs will be around 80ºF, lows closer to 65ºF.  

2. As educators across the country grapple with what the Common Core State Standards mean for curriculum and instruction, Discovery Education is offering classes on Common Core Academies. These courses starts at 8:30 a.m. today at the Natick High School: 15 West St, Natick. Classes run $300. For more information, see the Discovery Education website

4. The Awesome Express rolls into town for a free outdoor concert at the Wellesley Town Hall green. They stop in town at 7 p.m. It's a free show, they will have food and ice cream, so bring a lawn chair, pick up a CD, and enjoy the show!
