1. There is a chance of some showers, by the looks of it. The National Weather Service is predicting a 30 percent chance of showers during the day, a 50 percent chance in the evening. Highs expected to hit 64ºF and 44ºF lows. 

2. The savviest of thrift shoppers already know about the Community Council Thrift Shop's extended hours, so we won't bore you with the fact that they're from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and the shop is open today at their 570 Hillside Ave, Needham location.

3. Certain things simply go together, like . This afternoon, 4 p.m., The Residences at Wingate are putting on a wine and cheese mixer, and all you have to do is RSVP by calling 781-455-9080.
