Wellesley Farmers Market Sign Missing, Work of Sign Thieves?
Sign-theft on the loose in Wellesley, again, as a Farmers Market sign goes missing on Kingsbury Street.

The following was submitted on behalf of the Wellesley Farmers Market:
Genetically Modified Food advocates are apparently on the loose in Wellesley.
The Wellesley Farmers’ Market has reported a Farmers’ Market sign missing from a Wellesley residence on Kingsbury Street.
The sign, promoting the Market every Thursday from 2-6 at the corner of State and Washington Streets, was taken sometime between the hours of 2 and 4pm Wednesday afternoon. The lonely metal stand would kindly like its sign back, so that it can once again be made whole.
Wellesley’s finest police officers were not made aware of this unfortunate incident.
If you have any information about this sign-napping, please contact info@wellesleyfarmersmarket.com.

Editor's Note: This is not the first time signs have gone missing in Wellesley, although past incidents have largely been political. Some Elizabeth Warren signs went missing last year. In 2010, a resident told Patch he was frustrated with political sign thefts. (That said, there is nothing to indicate this incident is related to GM foods)
