Are Bike Lanes and Safety Signs in Wellesley's Future?

Town Officials have created a committee to study where bike lanes and safety signs would be beneficial in town, according to Boston.com. This comes after a man was killed while riding his bike in Wellesley.

The signs and lanes would be installed within the next year, aiming to make the town safer for cyclists, the Boston.com article said.

The selectmen recently approved the Bicycle Safety Committee. Wellesley’s executive director Hans Larsen and Selectman Ellen Gibbs along with members of various town departments and boards will be part of the newly formed committee.
