Community Rallies Behind Wellesley Student Attacked By Classmates
As the accused attackers are allowed back to class, Wellesley students rally outside the school to criticize their return.

WELLESLEY, MA — The Wellesley students accused of viciously attacking a classmate over the summer are allowed back to the school, causing members of the community and peers to come together Wednesday morning to show support for the student.
Over the summer, Sean Ade, 15, says a group of classmates he thought were his friends lured him into an attack where he says he was punched, kicked, and urinated on.
Some of the teens were charged with conspiracy and assault and battery and sent to juvenile court, according to a police report filed over the summer, but now some of them are allowed to return to school.

WPS says the district is following a specific investigation process which is outlined in the school's bullying policy:
The Wellesley Public Schools will not tolerate any unlawful or disruptive behavior,
including any form of bullying, cyber-bullying, or retaliation, in our school buildings,
on school grounds, or in school-related activities. We will investigate promptly all
reports and complaints of bullying, cyber-bullying, and retaliation, and take prompt
action to end that behavior and restore a target's sense of safety.
