Man Needs MedFlight Post Fall, Shoplifting: Wellesley Police Log
The following is from the Wellesley Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

May 8
5:20 p.m. - Officer Keenan spoke with a man who stated on May 4 around 10 p.m., he parked his vehicle on Kendall Road and when he returned to the vehicle on May 7, he observed two long gash marks on the passenger side of the vehicle. The marks looked to have been made intentionally as there was no other damage to the vehicle. The reporting party stated that he has not previously had any issues parking the vehicle on Kendall Road. He lives on an adjacent street and was advised it might be better for him to park on his own street in the future.

May 9
8:10 p.m. - Officer Griffin was dispatched to a business on Central Street for a report of a check fraud. The report is incomplete at this time and no further information is available.

May 10
9:06 a.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to Skyline Drive to speak with a man about damage to his motor vehicle. He stated the vehicle was parked in the driveway overnight and the rear window was smashed this morning. Officer Cunningham inspected the vehicle and was unable to find the object that caused the damage.
11:00 a.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to Lovewell Road for a report of two suspicious men. One man entered two motor vehicles parked on Lovewell Road while the other man at the intersection of Lovewell Road and Washington Street. The two reporting parties indicated they had never seen the vehicles parked on the street before or the men. The men were on cell phones and appeared to be speaking to each other. After speaking with the men, it was learned that they both work for a business on Washington Street and parked on Lovewell Road to avoid paying the parking meters on Washington Street.
11:14 a.m. - Officer Joseph was dispatched to a residence on Linden Street to speak to a reporting party about check fraud. The report is incomplete at this time and no further information is available.
11:17 a.m. - Officer Hughes spoke with a resident of Benton Road about bank fraud. The report is incomplete at this time and no further information is available.
4:48 p.m. - Officer DiCenso was dispatched to a residence on Ravine Road for a report of a contractor that had fallen approximately 10 feet into the basement while working on a residence that is under construction. The contractors were installing beams across the top of the foundation that would support the basement ceilings once constructed when one of the contractors fell to the basement floor. The man was complaining of pain in his legs. MedFlight was contacted due to the nature of the suspected injuries and he was transported to a hospital in Boston for evaluation and treatment. OSHA was contacted and responded to the scene to investigate the incident.
May 11
6:19 p.m. - Officer DeBernardi spoke with a man from Roche Bros about a past shoplifting incident. The store employee stated that a woman had entered the store, placed several items in a shopping cart and then left the store without paying for them. An employee of the store observed a woman enter a Honda minivan and provided Officer DeBernardi with the registration number. Officer DeBernardi contacted the registered owner of the vehicle who stated she inadvertently left without paying for the items and agreed to return and pay for them. The store employee was satisfied with this resolution and indicated that the woman would be issued a letter of no trespass to the store.
May 12
2:16 p.m. - Officer J. Popovski spoke with a man at the police station who wished to turn in an old firearm that was no longer wanted. Officer Popovski took possession of the firearm and marked it for destruction.
