Memorial Day Traffic Backing Up Route 9 Wellesley

The Wellesley Police Department warn that, as of 5:25 p.m., traffic is severely backed up from Cedar Street out to the Natick border. 

There are no crashes or incidents to report, just that the heavy volume of traffic for the holiday weekend is causing the delays. If you can't avoid the road, you can likely expect delays for the next hour--until about 6:30 p.m.
