Muriel M. Coughlin, 91, of Plymouth, formerly of Wellesley, died Dec. 16, 2013.
She was the daughter of the late Francis and Regina (MacMillan) Coughlin.
Muriel grew up in Wellesley and graduated from Wellesley High School. She attended business college, and had worked for more than 25 years at Wellesley College, where she retired as supervisor of custodial services.
She was an active volunteer with the Head Injury Foundation in Metro West and at Newton Wellesley Hospital and Jordan Hospital in Plymouth.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her siblings Phyllis King and John, Edward and Regina Coughlin
Her funeral will be from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave., Needham 9 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 19 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
