• Wellesley's Skip the Stuff bylaw now in effect at restaurants (theswellesleyreport.com) — Wellesley’s new “Skip the Stuff” bylaw is now in force, so restaurants will only provide single-use utensils and condiments when you ask or use a self-service station. Backed by town health and sustainability groups, the rule aims to cut waste and costs, and local spots like Alta Strada and Coconut Thai are already embracing the change.
   

• Martin Luther King Day, Jr. observances in Wellesley (and beyond), 2026 (theswellesleyreport.com) — Wellesley residents can mark Martin Luther King Jr. Day with World of Wellesley’s Jan. 19 program and lunch at Wellesley College, featuring explorer and author J.R.
