WELLESLEY, MA – Boston Red Sox President Sam Kennedy will stop by Wellesley this spring, to co-host a panel about America's Pastime. Kennedy will be joined by sports historian Dick Johnson, and the panel will be moderated by Emmy-winning former sportscaster Mike Dowling.The event, "Looking Back on America's Favorite Pastime," will benefit the Wellesley Historical Society. Funds will help support scholarships for Wellesley High students, collections management and offset operating costs. "Looking Back on America's Favorite Pastime" will take place Friday, May 5 at 6 p.m. In addition to the panel discussion, there will be a live auction, a ballpark-themed dinner and beer and wine.
