Report: Wellesley No Longer Top School District In Mass.
Don't worry, they're still in the top 10 of Niche's annual report.

WELLESLEY, MA — Data compiler Niche has ranked the best school districts in Massachusetts for 2019. The rankings were released this week as part of the website's 2019 K-12 rankings.
To arrive at the rankings, Niche looked at data from the U.S. Department of Education as well as test scores, college data, and ratings collected from Niche users. (You can read more about the methodology here.)
Each district received a letter grade in the following categories: Academics; Diversity; Teachers; College Prep; Clubs & Activities; Health & Safety; Administration; Sports; Food; and Resources & Facilities.

Wellesley lost their top spot from last year and were ranked as the seventh best school district in the state. Nearby Newton took the top spot this year. Wellesley was also named the sixth best district when it comes to teachers and the six best place to teach.
