Today In Wellesley: Glamorous Girls, Mocktails and More!

Five things you need to know today for Needham and Wellesley on August 7, 2013.

1. Hope you like your days sunny and warm, because that's what the National Weather Service has for you today. They're saying a high of 80ºF will be accompanied by a lot of sun. This evening, you can expect a low of 62ºF and about a 30 percent chance of showers.

2. Unfortunately, Patch can't be everywhere at the same time. But, if you recently ran an event and want us to see it, post about it on the Boards. Snap a couple of photos, head to Boards, and upload them with a short write-up.

3. Story time: Needham Public Library will host a drop-in story time today for ages 5 and under. Stop in at 11 a.m. for stories, music and movement.

4. If you already know what to expect when you're expecting, come and grab a tasty mocktail and some snacks at Magic Beans' mocktail party for expectant mommies. At 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, head to Kidville in Wellesley to learn more about things like cord blood banking, and some of the other resources for new parents. E-mail Vanessa.Wipfler@mbeans.com with any questions. RSVP at expectantmommyparty.eventbrite.com.

5. Pull on your dancing shoes, and head to Wellesley Town Hall to catch the Glamour Girls as they perform some dance classics. Tunes from the '40s all the way to the '90s, here in town. Show starts at 7 p.m. and runs to 8:30 p.m.
