The following is from the Wellesley Police Log. Arrests and charges mentioned don't imply conviction.

May 30

9:14 a.m. - Officer Cunningham was dispatched to a residence on Washington Street for a report of a tree limb that had fallen on a parked car. A tree crew was conducting work. The report is incomplete at this time and no further information is available.

4:24 p.m. - Officer Griffin spoke with a woman and an employee from Wellesley’s Council on Aging. The employee from the Council on Aging indicated that the elderly woman may have been a victim of fraud and explained that a law firm had contacted her offering assistance in obtaining debt relief and she had initially signed up for the service, but decided to cancel the program and request a refund. When she attempted to contact the company where her escrow account was being held they informed her that they were unfamiliar with the law firm. Officer Griffin contacted the law firm and found that they work directly with American Debt Relief and the reporting party had contacted Global Client Solutions who may not have be familiar with their law firm. They indicated they would not charge her for any services.
