Weekend Planner: Funtastic and Mindful Saturday, Plugging in and More!
Five things for the weekend of July 27, 2013 in Needham and Wellesley.

1. There are some pretty FUNtastic Saturdays (for Kids) in Linden Square. This weekend, for example, the program continues with decorating a summer tote bag, and musicians who likes noise--the Bravo Brothers. Starts at 1 p.m., runs to 4 p.m. in Linden Square.
2. Take a deep breath right now. Now, put some of your weekend aside for a Day of Mindfulness. Saturday, starting at 9 a.m., Visions Healthcare in Wellesley wants to give you a real retreat, as a teacher and healer, Patricia Howard brings some of her mindfulness-based stress techniques to you. The cost is $95 and food is not included (so bring a bag lunch). Call Stephanie at 781-232-5431 for more information and to register.
3. You are invited to the Great Plain Squares Summer Dance! Whatever your style, swing by First Parish in Needham on Saturday for a hot and sultry night (with air conditioning). For those in the know, the program is MS/Plus squares with alternating Rounds in 2+2 format. The cost is $7, and they welcome refreshment contributions.
4. Regis College (Weston) wants to teach you How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying. Or, at least show you their version of a Broadway play of the same title. The show runs this weekend, tickets are $17 for adults and $12 for children under 12. Call the box office at 781-768-7070, or visit www.westondramaworkshop.org or www.ticketstage.com to buy.
5. Noon on Sunday, Plugged In invites you to Meet the Teachers! Kids 8 to 18 are welcome to come and join the practice space, so get to know who they'll be working with. Come to their Needham location from noon to 2 p.m., when their teachers will be there to chat about their programs and experiences, and show you a bit of the Plugged In program.
