Weekend Planner: Rummaging, Star Dust and Other Funtastic Events

It's back, and this time it's personal. Charles River Rummage 2 kicks off this weekend. Go on a kayaking trip and clean the river while you're at it. It's running Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. For more information, visit the EventBrite page.

Volante Farms is having a field day. Seriously, they're having a Farm Field Day & Customer Cooking Challenge this weekend. Tomorrow morning starting at 11 a.m., running until 3, they have a customer cooking challenge, face painting and a tour. 

Get a start on your PhD in Balloon-gineering. In Linden Square, Wellesley, at 1 p.m., we have a FUNtastic Saturday planned for Kids aged 4 to 8. It's all free, and it's all afternoon (until 4).  

Huntington’s Needham Center is heading down to take part in the Natick Music Festival. It's on the Natick town common starting at 2 p.m., and they have five bands coming to play: Jackie & Eddie, The Victory Band, Chicken Omelet, Boston's Ska-Prest, and Massachusetts. 

Waterstone at Wellesley is hosting the Stardust Duo. They are Amanda Smith Roberts, a violinist, and her husband, Jonathan Roberts, a pianist who have been playing jazz together since '08. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday. Call 781-235-1614 to RSVP.
