WELLESLEY, MA — Wellesley beach lovers get a couple more weeks in the sun now that the beach season was extended to Sept. 7. The Wellesley Recreation Department hired additional staff to extend the season — beach hours and the process to reserve a blanketing area remain the same. Recreation officials continue to recruit staff members. If enough staff members are available, the season could be extended even a few more days, officially ending on Sept. 13. Watch for updates on the <a href="https://www.wellesleyma.gov/353/2018/Morses-Pond" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">Recreation Department website</a> and the Town of Wellesley website.
