• Town of Wellesley expanding its use of AI (theswellesleyreport.com) — Wellesley officials are ramping up the town’s use of artificial intelligence to streamline permitting, budgeting, infrastructure planning, and public communication while tightening cybersecurity and data privacy safeguards. Residents may notice faster services and possible tools like a website chatbot, but most AI will operate behind the scenes as departments use systems such as Citilogix, UrbanSDK, and transcription tools to improve efficiency and decision-making. 
• 5 craziest classes of 2025 (campusreform.org) — A new list of “craziest” 2025 college classes includes a Wellesley College course called “Queer Bible,” which blends queer theory with biblical studies and ancient Middle Eastern history. The piece, written from a strongly critical perspective, groups Wellesley’s class with other gender, diversity, and social-justice-focused offerings at universities nationwide.
