Wellesley played the Needham Rockets boys soccer team at Memorial Park earlier this week. They played the defending D1 state champions, who took an early lead with a goal from Aram Ouligian in the first half.
Ouligian would strike again, a header in the second half, after Wellesley snagged a point of their own. Needham took their first game in a 2-1 win.
