Avoid Grove Street on your evening commute, per a suggestion from the police. According to a warning from the Wellesley Police Department, National Grid is currently working on Grove Street, and this road work has closed down one of the travel lanes.  It is a fairly short distance, but this could still cause some delays on the evening commute. Police say there is a strong chance that construction crews will be working while people are coming home from work. Avoid the stretch of road, or get ready for delays, Police warn.
