Wellesley Couple Donated Super Bowl Tickets to Vets
The veterans live in Arizona and are Patriots fans.
Wellesley residents Peter Simone and wife De decided to donate their Super Bowl tickets to two American war veterans, WHDH reported.
Kenneth Turner, who was injured during a tour in Afghanistan, and Air Force Sgt. Don Birkbeck, who was injured in Iraq, received the tickets.
“We’d much prefer to send two real patriots to this wonderful event,” the Simones wrote in their letter to Turner and Birkbeck.
