Wellesley Library Launches Black History Month Writing Contest

The contest is open to residents from Wellesley, Newton, and Brookline.

WELLESLEY, MA — This February, the Wellesley Free Library has launched a Black History Month writing contest, open to residents of all ages from Wellesley, Newton, or Brookline.

The contest will be open from Monday, Feb. 7 through Friday, March 4. Each participant will receive a prize and the final winners for each age group will receive an additional award.

Winners will be notified by mid-March followed by a public announcement, said the library.
