Wellesley Police Log: License Checks and Juvenile Cases

License Checking

While patrolling route 9 southbound, after 6 p.m. on April 18, Officer Derby reports he performed a random query of a vehicle, which appeared to have an expired inspection sticker. He pulled the driver over at the Oak Street intersection and requested license and registration.

The driver, identified as Juan Pimentel, Boston resident aged 33, told police that he had the registration, but did not have a Mass. license. A query determined that the driver had been driving on a suspended license. He was arrested and charged with driving on a revoked license, driving without his license, and driving without an inspection sticker.

He was released on personal recognizance.

Juvenile Case

A 15-year-old female was taken into custody on April 19, at about 9:45 p.m. from the 540 block of Washington Street. She was later released.
