The Quick and the Suspended

While conducting traffic enforcement, at about 10:30 p.m., Feb 21, Officer Gover saw a vehicle speeding. In a 50 mph zone, he radar-scanned the vehicle traveling on Worcester Street at 65 mph.

He pulled the vehicle over at Lexington Road, and requested the driver's license and registration. A computer query determined that the driver had his registration suspended and the license suspended as well. 

The driver, Stuart Lemerique, 22, of Brockton was arrested and charged with driving on a suspended license, driving on a suspended registration and speeding. He was taken to the station and booked. Unable to make bail, he was held and taken to court in the morning.

Protective Custody

Officer Lindelof brought a 65-year-old male into protective custody Feb. 23, at about 12:30 a.m. from Worcester Street.
