Wellesley Resident Dr. Alex Taylor honored at NE Revs Match

New England Revolution Honors Local Hero Dr. Alex Taylor of Wellesley at Sunday's Match

October 30, 2018 (Boston, MA) — The New England Revolution honored Dr. Alex Taylor, Director of Neuropsychology for the Brain Injury Center at Boston Children’s Hospital and Instructor at Harvard Medical School from Wellesley, MA as the Hero of the Match at the team’s home game on Sunday against the Montreal Impact. Alex was recognized during a pregame ceremony for his devotion to brain injury research and concussions. He had a sideline view of the Revs pregame warmups and enjoyed the game from the Putnam Club.

Dr. Taylor provides solution- focused brief therapy and specializes in the assessment of adolescents and young adults with concerns focused on brain injuries and concussions. His work includes investigating the impact of mild traumatic brain injury with the aim of preventing longer term symptoms. He also serves as a consultant for the New England Revolution.

The Revs’ Hero of the Match program honors a local first responder, member of the armed forces or individual making a difference in the community at each home game during the 2018 season.
