Residents are urged to report suspicious messages to Wellesley Police and their bank immediately.

Wellesley Select Board meeting starts with MassBay forest, ends with MassBay forest (theswellesleyreport.com) — Wellesley’s Select Board is weighing legal options and funding to respond to the state’s plan for 180 housing units on MassBay’s surplus land while trying to protect the much-used forest. Backed by local churches, schools, businesses, and Girl Scouts, the effort grew out of the town’s Civil Discourse Initiative and aims to restore community support that waned after COVID.

Hun School sophomore Lukas Prock a ALL-USA Football Team QB finalist (usatodayhss.com) — A standout young quarterback from Wellesley, sophomore Lukas Prock has become a national prep football name after a huge season at the Hun School of Princeton. His 4,330 passing yards and 41 touchdowns earned him a spot as an ALL-USA East Football Team finalist and serious attention from major college programs. His success puts a local athlete on the national radar.
