Wellesley Student Named College Lacrosse All Star

WELLESLEY, MA — A local resident made quite the splash playing college lacrosse in the D.C. area. Cecily Docktor, a senior attack at Washington College in Chestertown, Maryland, was one of five women from the school named to the 2019 All-Centennial Conference honors team.

Docktor, a repeat first team honoree, helped her team finish 12-6 and 7-2 in the conference. She led the Shorewomen in assists (43), points (70) and draw controls (101), while adding 27 goals and scooping up 26 ground balls. Docktor also set the school record for draws in a single season, becoming the first Washington College player to reach triple digit draw controls in one season.

Through the end of the Centennial Conference Tournament, she ranks second in draw controls, fourth in in helpers and seventh in points. In Centennial games, she was second, fourth and seventh respectively in the three categories.

Docktor tallied her 200th career point at Muhlenberg College on April 7 and finished her career at Washington with 227 points on 133 goals and 94 assists to go along with 111 draw controls. The senior, who started in all 18 contests in 2019, ranks third all-time in team history in assists, sixth in points, eighth in goals and ninth in draws.
