Wellesley Town Meeting Night Results: Night 3 - Wales Street Bridge, Capital Improvements

The third night of Town Meeting continues the discussion of the Town Meeting Warrant. The first and second nights of Town Meeting completed discussion of the first 14 warrant articles.

At the beginning of last night's session, there were 21 articles remaining.

• Article 15 - Appropriate money for repairs to the Wales Street Bridge. Unanimously approved.
• Article 16 - Funds for 900 Washington Street. No motions. 
• Article 17 - Capital improvements for school and town buildings. Approved with a handful of "no" votes. 

Discussion of article 18, which will appropriate some money for the Tolles-Parson Senior Center, will continue tonight. The discussion was continued at 11:30 p.m. last night, with some Town Meeting Members still wishing to comment on the proposal.
