2 Indicted In Fatal Crash On Mass. Pike That Killed Spencer Woman

Two have been indicted on charges related to an SUV crash in October last year that killed a woman from Spencer.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Two people, one from Worcester and another from Shrewsbury, have been indicted on charges related to a SUV crash that happened in October of last year in Westborough, killing a Spencer woman.

A Worcester County Grand Jury handed up indictments on Friday against two people in an October 29, 2016, crash that killed a Spencer woman, according to Worcester County District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr.

Andrew Ledoux, 21, Fourth Street, Worcester, was indicted for motor vehicle homicide, three counts of operating under the influence causing serious bodily injury and operating to endanger. Ledoux was the driver in the crash that happened in the early morning hours on Saturday, Oct. 29, on the Massachusetts Turnpike in Westborough that killed passenger Ashley Sheehan.

Gina Correiri, 20, Bridge Path, Shrewsbury, was also indicted on a manslaughter charge. Correiri allegedly pulled on the steering wheel of the SUV causing it to leave the road and crash into a rock ledge off the side of the highway, according to the district attorney.

Three other passengers in the SUV were also injured in the crash.

Ledoux and Correiri will be arraigned in Worcester Superior Court on a later date.
