Cold Harbor Brewing Will Open Larger Taproom, Restaurant In 2023
Cold Harbor opened its Milk Street brewery and taproom in 2015, and has grown a loyal following since.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough's only craft beer maker will soon move into a new, larger space in town — in line with a growth in popularity after seven years in business.
A new Cold Harbor Brewing taproom and restaurant is under construction now along Otis Street south of Route 9, and could open as soon as spring 2023, according to Worcester Magazine.
Cold Harbor operates out of the bottom floor of a commercial building along Milk Street. The space is almost entirely dedicated to brewing equipment, with a tiny taproom in front — plus an often busy outdoor area.

The new location will be about 8,000 square-feet with a 2,500 square-foot outdoor area, Worcester Magazine reported.
The new brewery will complement a larger town effort to overhaul Otis Street. Westborough received a $2 million MassWorks grant last week to overhaul the Otis and Route 9 intersection, which officials hope will spur smart growth development along the street. Amazon also recently opened a robotics facility adjacent to Cold Harbor's new site.

The brewery, named after a brook that flows through all the "borough" towns in MetroWest, first opened in 2015. Owner Will Oliveira, a Northborough resident, opened the brewery with former head brewer Brandon Heisler after meeting at the former Hopsters brewpub in Newton. Their popular brews, including the flagship IPAs Novacaine and Juice Freak, can now be found in stores across the state.
