Hazardous Waste Day In Westborough: What To Bring

The Saturday event will allow residents to get rid of most hazardous materials that shouldn't be thrown in the trash.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Unless you have a hunk of plutonium sitting in your garage, Westborough will host a hazardous waste event Saturday where you can dispose of almost any type of noxious material.

The hazardous household waste event will run 8 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Westborough Department of Public Works building, 131 Oak St.

"Simply collect the materials around your home and transport them to the collection site," the town said. Anyone attending the event will need to provide proof of residency.
