Nor'easter Cancels Westborough Trash Dropoff
The transfer station is expected to reopen on Wednesday for dropoffs, according to the town.
WESTBOROUGH, MA — Westborough residents will have to skip trash day on Tuesday due to an impending nor'easter.
The town is keeping the Hopkinton Road transfer station closed until Wednesday at the earliest, with anywhere between 7 and 12 inches of snow possible in the Westborough area.
The station will reopen with normal hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Wednesday and beyond.

A storm that was initially predicted to bring around 12 inches of snow to the area shifted south Monday afternoon, putting the heavier bands of snow closer to central Rhode Island. Marlborough is in an area that forecasters think 6 to 8 inches by the end of day Tuesday.
