Special Town Meeting Approves Funds For Armstrong School, Housing
A Special Town Meeting was held to vote on four articles on Monday, Nov. 27.

WESTBOROUGH, MA—Selectmen called a Special Town Meeting to vote on four articles on Monday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m. at the Westborough High School Auditorium.
Article 1 proposed a tax incentive finance agreement with a company doing business at 9 Technology Drive. Vote: Majority in favor, motion carries.
Article 2 proposed an amendment to the Affordable Housing Requirement in the Senior Living Overlay District. Vote to Main Motion: 2/3 vote achieved, motion carries.

Article 3 requested a modification to an article voted up at the March Annual Town Meeting to allow monies for the purchase of modular classrooms at the Armstrong School to also allow the funding to be used for design, bidding, and construction of an addition to the Armstrong School. Vote: 2/3 vote achieved, motion carries.
Article 4 requests funding for a property appraisal of 231 Turnpike Road. Vote: Unanimous vote in favor, motion carries.
