Transit-Oriented Village In Westborough Pitched Near Commuter Rail
The small rental units would be built within walking distance to the Westborough MBTA station.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The Westborough Planning Board may soon begin deliberations of a unique housing development planned for Fisher Street.
A developer wants to build 18 rental units at 134 Fisher St. — an unused parcel that backs up to the George Nichols reservoir — in the style of a transit-oriented village. The development would be about 1/5 of a mile from the Westborough Commuter Rail station.
Each unit in the development would be about 624 square-feet, according to an update in the town's quarterly newsletter.
