Here's When Big Y Will Open In Westborough

WESTBOROUGH, MA — Big Y has announced when its new Westborough location will open its doors. People can officially shop at the grocery store at 290 Turnpike Rd., on August 14.

Big Y has a large selection of products and a family-friendly atmosphere. The stores also boast pharmacies, bakeries, food courts and other services.

Grand opening celebrations will begin on August 28. With that, there will be a giveaway from August 14 through November 5. Three people can win up to 20,000 rewards points, which is around $200 in free groceries.

There are 94 Big Y locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, with the closest stores in Milford, Worcester and Holden.

Big Y is hiring 100 employees for the new location. The chain is looking to fill a variety of positions including department managers, cashiers and clerks in many departments.

They have been hosting hiring events all summer long at 290 Turnpike Rd. Those will continue to run through August 8, every weekday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
