Westborough Public Library Offers Its Top Summer Reads

WESTBOROUGH, MA—It's frustrating when you go to get a book and it's not there.

The staff of Westborough Public Library has introduced “Breakout Books” to lessen the delay. Breakout Books allows readers to find titles - both fiction and non-fiction - that have high patron demand, are bestsellers, have critical reviews or are new titles from popular authors.

The difference between Breakout Books and the regular collection is that Breakout Books are non-holdable, said the announcement. They are first-come, first check-out, and are limited to one selection per card. The goal is to ensure there is always something new and popular every time a patron visits the Westborough Public Library.

"Every item in the Breakout Book collection is also available traditionally, but this new section significantly cuts the wait for the trending titles," said the announcement.
