Westborough Is Site Of 123rd Rockland Trust Branch

The new bank branch opened in Westborough on Monday along Lyman Street.

WESTBOROUGH, MA — The regional bank chain Rockland Trust opened its 123rd branch on Monday in Westborough, according to the company.

The new branch at 35 Lyman St. will be the bank's first along the Route 9 corridor between Worcester and Newton. Rockland Trust will mark the opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony this week, and a $10,000 gift to One Mission, a Westborough-based pediatric cancer charity.

The new branch will be managed by Marisha Day, who was previously the manager of the Berkshire Bank branch in Westborough.

“I have been lucky to spend the majority of my career as a retail branch manager in Westborough,” Day said in a news release. “Our team is inspired by the connectedness of this community and thrilled to introduce our neighbors to Rockland Trust’s relationship-oriented style of banking.”

The Westborough Rockland Trust offers traditional banking services including deposits, an ATM, live tellers and currency exchange. The branch will also offer financial and estate planning services.

The branch will be open Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturdays.
